We encourage our family to collectively work together for a greener society. Monitoring our footprint is very important. As much as we want to indulge in tasty treats, greener products and simple home efficiency will help to make our environment and treats a little better.

Here are 5 key tips to be a greener baker

1. Recycle

As we encourage baking from scratch, ensure the products you purchase have recyclable packaging. This will ensure that most of your ingredients comply with a greener code. 

2. Use reusable baking sheets

Try using reusable baking paper or try to invest in Silicon baking sheets. These ensure low/no waste.  

3. Greener baking equipment

Non-stick bakeware is coated in polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Invest in greener equipment such as Ceramic or Silicone

4. Time your energy use

Try to time your oven use ahead of time and how much electricity and gas you may use. 

5. Vegan products

Vegan products are definately better for the environment. It also comes with vegan packaging and better for Cholesterol!
